Application of Temperature and Humidity Sensors in Real - time Monitoring of Temperature and Humidity Values in Containers

At present, ports have entered the fast lane of intelligent development, "advanced, reliable, efficient and green" has become the latest concept of port development. Under this background, many world-class ports are undergoing intelligent transformation of the wharfs, which puts forward higher requirements for the operation and management of container wharfs, such as remote operation of terminal handling machinery, remote control of unmanned collection cards, etc. A single operator is required to remotely control multiple machines or vehicles at the same time. Remote monitoring of the working conditions (mainly temperature and humidity) of refrigerated containers has become a consensus in the transportation and refrigeration industries at home and abroad.

The monitoring effect is not ideal by Judging from the application of intelligent temperature and humidity monitoring technology in refrigerated containers of ports and docks in recent years. New technologies such as power carrier, radio frequency identification, and general packet radio service with low monitoring rate, large signal interference, high equipment modification cost, and are more difficult to be popularized. At present, most docks still use manual monitoring of the temperature and humidity of cold containers. High labor cost, high labor intensity, low production efficiency and poor monitoring quality have become obstacles to the intelligent management of cold storage. Crew work is far from meeting the requirements of large refrigerated container transportation.

Therefore, it is necessary to establish an intelligent monitoring system for temperature and humidity of cold box at the wharf. The main significance is as follows:

(1) To realize continuous monitoring of the temperature of the cold box and strengthen the supervision of the cold box goods.
(2) To quickly find abnormal cold boxes to reduce the risk of regulatory responsibility.
(3) To reduce labor management costs and improve management efficiency.

In an intelligent container, the temperature and humidity system mainly uses temperature sensors, humidity sensors (temperature and humidity sensors) and gas sensors to detect the temperature and humidity in the container and the concentration of various gases, and transmits the detected data to the terminal and display them by LED, thus realizing real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity and other conditions. When the temperature and humidity in the refrigerator exceed the set value, the alarm system starts to give an alarm, then relevant staff can change the temperature and humidity in the refrigerator in time through external conditions to keep the temperature and gas state in a proper range.
